Here's another example of where I thought I was being clear, but not so much. I was trying to figure out how to express that a knit stitch is the same as a purl stitch.

My flash of insight about knitting, which may very well be obvious to most of the world, is that knitting is about the relationship between loops and loops. A loop is pulled through another loop, which creates two double-twists, which is what I was trying to express here, in June of 2005.

Cryptic Note

One of those notes to the future I wrote down ten or more years ago: "Laves tiling" corresponds to one of the methods of producing a tiling in knitting using entrelac. I guess I have to look up that term again to see what I meant by that.

I started knitting this tonight in Jaggerspun. I can't go on. This wool is too scratchy after knitting cotton/rayon and before that, baby alpaca. I'll have to start again in a softer yarn... my tender fingers demand it.
